I am happy to say that I loved this book just as much as I did the previous books. Sanderson did an amazing job with Jordan's legacy, and it felt like nothing had changed at all. This sure might be the one I would give my vote too.

The world is as rich as usual, the fights as big, and the end is coming in this wonderful series.

Amen bro!
I was all set to vote for RF
but after reading the Storm, i changed my vote.
Im a sucker for something i have that much invested into.
a little disappointed that Rand didnt blow up the Seanchan though.
They need to go away!

Haha, I am with you there! I sure hope if blows up those annoying Seanchan ;)
They just gets under my skin

I would vote for GRRM except he takes too dadgum long to get to the point... or his next volume!

I did try him, but he sure like to kill people, should give him another go though...when all books are finished

You may have a rather looong wait- last one took over 4 years, supposed to be two more in Fire and Ice.

What i cant believe is only 5!!!! replies to this thread??? Surely Jordans last out put deserves a bigger place on the board. Maybe everyone is already rereading it not putting thoughts online???
Or maybe there is too much on the longlist to read all of them???

And from the looks of book 12, the return will be worth waiting for- dont you think?? I wish i could force myself to write a review of The Gathering Storm but i dont think i will risk opening myself up to the criticisms. You can be assured there is someone out there who thinks he knows more than anyone else!
