Is Dros Gemmell defunct now or still going? Apologies if you are a different drosdelnoch.
there a quite a few good titles on the list so I am not sure just yet.
I was surfing the net after new fantasy books when I saw that a book was nominated for the David Gemmell Legend Award. That caught my interest, so I had to check it out. David Gemmell is my favorite author (alongside Tolkien, but two different kind of authors), so I wanted to find out what this was.
I must say that it's a brilliant idea, seeing how much David Gemmell gave to the fantasy genre. He was a true artist when it came to writing fantastic fantasy books.
Life is hectic at the moment so I don't know what I'll be able to contribute, but I'll be reading all these great book recommendations and trying to find time to read the ones I've missed so far ...
cheers
Chris
