Earlier tonight at Eastercon, Debbie Miller, alongside Joe Abercrombie and Juliet E McKenna announced the shortlist for this years David Gemmell Legend Award:

Is there a set date for the final voting, because I'm going on holiday in a few days and probably wont be able to access the internet.  Thanks.

Hi Adam, the poll will be open right the way up to the middle of June so you'll be fine to vote on your return.

Gareth - thanks for posting this - I had done a blog post  which I thought was set to 'go live' on Sunday, but obviously, gremlins have eaten it! We're very excited about this years shortlists & I think the Legend in particular will be a suitably epic battle!

Unfortunately, I came back from the Con with a horrible cold (aka "ConCrud") - so I'm just back off to bed with a lemsip - will put up the Shortlist polls on FRIDAY & will tweet etc to let everyone know they are open!
